CHANNEL AIMS:

We aim to give people a place to meet and chat about music production.

It just so happens that the production tools have been pirated. To help keep things in check we have a few simple rules:

RULES:

1) No colors - Reason : most people in our channel are in there at the same time as making music ... which seems to be a night time thing, bright colors in the dead of night really do get annoying so please don't use them in our channel.

2) No warez begging - Reason : if you asked once and no one helped chances are they aren't going to help just because you ask five more times. We suggest that you participate in chats and get to know the other members of #Midiwarez if people get to know you (and your actually a nice person) they will be much more likly to help you out.

3) No repeating - Reason : Chances are we heard you the first time. If you do feel the need to repeat things leave at least ten minutes in between each repeat this way you have the chance of new people entering the channel or returning to their PC's etc.

4) Don't "fight" in channel - Reason : We enjoy heated discussion as much as any one else but it gets to a point where we need to calm down and take it to private messages so for example if your just throwing abuse at each other just take it to private messages. If you have a problem with some one in the channel please speak with an active op to try and resolve your dispute.

5) SITES - Our rules for warez sites are simple; feel free to post sites that you own / have permission to distribute the info of. But remember that our channel - like any other - may be being watched by those people who would rather you didn't distribute illegal copies of software so be careful! Also no banner or ratio sites - Reason : Warez are FREE the cracking team cracked the program for FREE so people shouldn't end up paying for the end product. We support Radium in the policy of if you like and use a program buy it .. both OxYGeN and Zone have taken on this policy too, seriously some one has put effort into making that program, you use it, so why not give something back to them, if you can afford it do it. (Moral talk done with.)
